Formation and development of botanical sciences in Tajikistan
There are shortly pointed up the history of taxonomically diversity of vascular and spore plants, and perspectives of botanical investigation in Tajikistan. The share of Russian scientists and their progeny specially marked in the making of botanical school in country. The future development of botanical investigation author is recognizing in elucidation of ecological, geographical, population and genetically legitimacy of formation and dynamically of plant ecosystem due to globally climate exchange, and also anthropogenic pressure.

The main achievements of the Pamir Biological Institute over the years of Stаtе Independence of Tajikistan are demonstrated in the study of the effect of ecological factors of high mountains on the state of flora and fauna of the Pamir. The largest expeditions are listed that made significant contributions to the study of biological resources of the Pamir highlands.

Ontogenetic structure of cenotic populations I.macrophylla
The paper provides data on the structure of coenotic populations of Inula macrophylla Kar. et Kir., which are one of the edificatory species of herbaceous communities of the half-savannas of southern Tajikistan. The results of the study show that the structure of coenotic populations of I.macrophylla has three types of spectrum: centered, right-sided and bimodal.

Influence of brassinosteroids on the content
of photosynthetic pigments and antioxidant activity of Solanum tuberosium L. plants under water deficiency
The changes of the content of photosynthetic pigments, transcriptional activity, and antioxidant systems in potato regenerant plants under the action of brassinosteroids (BS) and polyethylene glycols (PEGs) wаs studiеd.
It was found that BS stimulated the synthesis of chlorophyll a by two times, carotenoids by 1.5 times. With the addition of PEG, the synthesis of chlorophylls slightly decreased, and with their combined action, the content of pigments was at the control level.
It was shown that BS significantly reduced the effect of PEG at the level of RNA synthesis. Moreover, BS also reduced the effect of PEG on proline accumulation and exerted a stimulating effect under conditions of water deficit. The experiments showed that BS significantly stimulated the activity of peroxidase and catalase and completely compensated the inhibitory effect of PEG. BS promoted an increase in plant resistance to water deficit.

The correlation between activity of antioxidant enzymes of APO and water-holding capacity of potato leaves under a hot climate in South Tajikistan
In the article it is stated about results of studying of factor of correlation between activity antiocsidant enzyme and water-retaining ability of leaves of a potato, and also the relative maintenance of water in phases development of plants. It is established that between signs of activity of enzyme APO and water-retaining ability of leaves in phases butonisation makes communication return correlation (r=-0.083) and in a phases flowerings and tuners formation strong negative correlation (accordingly r=-0.877 and r=-0.937) is observed. It is established that between activity APO and ОСВ in a phase butonisation return correlation (r=-0.225) is observed. It is defined that communication stronger (r=0.827), in a flowering phase rather weak (r=0.300) and in a phase tuners formation - average (r=0.519).

In this paper the results of studies of the biological and ecological features and productivity of sagebrush (Artemisia sogdiana Bunge), the dominant desert vegetation, widely distributed in the foothill plains of the Kurama and Turkestan ranges are presents. It is a valuable component of the autumn-winter pastures of Northern Tajikistan. Technologies of restoration of degraded wormwood and sowing of wormwood in the composition of multi-species herb-shrub herb mixtures have been established.

Cotton yield with increasing doses of nitrogen fertilizers against the background of phosphorus and potassium
It is shown that an important condition for obtaining a stable high yield of cotton on the serozem soils of the Vakhsh valley is the use of optimal doses and ratios of full mineral fertilizers promotes better boll accumulation increases the mass of one boxees. The use of increasing doses up to the optimal nitrogen fertilizers against the background of phosphorus and potassium contassium contributed to an increase in the yield of raw cotton from 1.7 to 2.8 c/ha in comparison with the control.

The article provides data on the study of morphological and cultural characteristics of Verticillium dahliae Kleb. the causative agent of lemon verticillous desiccation. The study of the strains of the pathogen V.dahliae of various origins revealed their certain variability only by such signs as pigmentation and the nature of mycelium growth, the formation of microsclerocytes.
